Gene DiJospeh has been a Project Engineer at Composites USA in North East MD since November 2016 and has 30 years of professional experience. His Responsibilities include modification to existing manufacturing equipment to achieve greater safety, quality and efficiency; new manufacturing equipment design as needed to meet customer demand; defining operating procedures, maintenance schedule and operator training; and assisting in new product design/development to expand growth in our market segment.

Gene has designed mobile drilling rigs for water wells, mineral exploration and shallow oil wells. He has also designed structural corrugated paper products, the manufacturing equipment for those products and the managed production facilities. He has also served as Product Engineer and Plant Manager in the liquid filtration industry and achieved ISO9001 certification, and maintained cGMP, for pharmaceutical based products. Gene also served as Production Lead for engine, dash and suspension assembly plant for a major auto manufacturer.

Gene's diverse experience also include Production Manager for 3-shift facility to manufacture tile grout, mastic and mortar. He has initiated, trained and implemented 5S and Lean Manufacturing standards and owned and managed a home construction and land development company. He has also managed every aspect of a start-up web-based automobile performance business and served as Chief Engineer of product design. This company became the world leader and authority in the segment and manufactured OEM performance parts for a major American auto manufacturer.

Gene holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the Pennsylvania State University and EIT certification.
